Not only the start into self-employment is a big step. Handing over the business also poses its own challenges. The first thing to do is to find and develop suitable successors. Last but not least, the dynamic between the transferor and the transferee – keyword “letting go” – is a very special one, especially if the business stays in the family.

Business mediators can contribute to raising awareness of conflicting interests and clarifying conflicts.
